Teacher Training : Coming soon in 2021

Want to deep dive into an experiential teacher training module with the creators of Co-Creative Experiential Learning ? Although these have been designed for in service teachers, it is open to interested educators, parents and guardians wanting to create a conducive learning environment for the children under their care.

Building Blocks

Co-constructing Learning Experiences

This is a 3 day intensive course where the group learns how to co-construct learning using everyday and available resources. Participants also learn about group dynamics, the foundation of Global methodology, building on diversity as a learning tool through cooperation and group work. The course ends with teachers learning to create a basic template of their own projects and lesson plans.

Taking it forward

Create your own project

This is a 4-day course where participants learn to create projects that are organically linked to real-life experiences and map their projects with different subject competencies and life skills. They also learn diverse ways of assessing and reporting. This course also offers an introduction to learning through activities that create mindfulness and awareness, activating the 6th sense, using intuition and creativity. Teachers learn how to integrate this into their curriculum.

Deep diving

Developing a Consciousness Curriculum

The final 3 day course covers activities related to deeper scientific and spiritual concepts. This is the basis of a spiritual curriculum where teachers learn how to choose activities that create mindfulness and self-awareness in themselves and their learners. By the end of the course, teachers are born again as learners and they have learnt the art of helping children learn.

Join the Challenge

Be part of the solution! Are you a teacher, a parent, a guardian...? Use one idea incrementally to see the joy of learning and understanding deepen. Join the Challenge every January and apply one idea of your choice per week.

Space

Amplify learning, use the floor, wall, ceiling, table top, playground, kitchen... let it spill out of books.

Create a concrete outcome that addresses a real life problem while applying inter-disciplinary concepts learnt.

Revisit outcomes created by students for another module and use it as a learning resource

Engage touch, smell, taste, 6th sense etc. Break the stronghold of sight and sound in education!

Seek knowledge outside the text-book! Interview grand parents, survey shopkeepers, ask experts...

Use reflection, metacognition, mindfulness and self knowledge exercises to deepen understanding of concepts learnt/applied.

Power of Intention

The world is changing and consciousness is shifting. The need to be more aware of ourselves, what we say and think, how we behave and react… has never been so acute. In this video you will see young students perform the Rice Experiment developed by Dr. Masaru Emoto, it reminds us about the power of the intangible - intention and words, on our physical reality. It is something we can no longer ignore, especially in schools and homes with children, where we nurture the future.

A simple experiment to see the tangible effect of thoughts on matter. Would you like to try it? We would love to hear your results.

Tara Teacher Summit

This annual summit is a dedicated space to give a platform to Co-Creative Experiential Learning practitioners in February. The objective is to share, refine and celebrate good practices of teachers who have attended at least level one training and are applying this pedagogy in their school/learning environment. If you are interested to participate as a speaker/attendee, reach out to us!

In the first edition of Tara Teacher Summit, educators from across India gave keynote presentations on one project applying tenets of Co creative Experiential Learning pedagogy adapted to the needs to their school. Using a criterion referenced grid, the audience comprising of novice and seasoned GRL practitioners interacted with the speaker and gave feedback. In the next edition, we are inviting international participation in an online format/in person format depending on the evolution of the pandemic.
